Our Vision
Our Vision
Aluma was founded by the Religious Kibbutz Movement as part of its commitment to ensuring Israel’s success as a Jewish and democratic state. Aluma was established as a practical implementation of the ideology of this movement, which believes in combining the values of Torah study and hard work. Aluma is committed to human equality, fair treatment of all people, and building resilience in Israeli society. Its endeavors coincide with the values defined by its founders, and expand the circles of mutual responsibility and solidarity among Israeli teens and young adults.
Aluma’s goal is to facilitate social changes that can build resilience in Israeli society, by strengthening the sense of belonging and Israeli identity within individuals and communities.
Aluma encourages young adults to play productive, influential roles in Israeli society, while maintaining their own, unique identities, values, and ways of life,
For young adults in Israel, meaningful post-high school service, acquiring higher education, developing personal skills, and striving for excellence can facilitate social mobility and enhance their sense of affiliation with Israeli society.
