Donations

Aluma is a non-profit organization for which donors can receive tax credits per Section 46a of the Israel Income Tax Ordinance. Aluma strives to facilitate social change that can build the resilience of Israeli society by strengthening the sense of affiliation and solidarity among individuals and communities.

In order to yield change, Aluma offers individual and group activities for some 40,000 young adults from diverse populations in Israeli society, in over 100 localities and in 20 academic institutes. These programs provide information, consultations, and guidance to help young adults make optimal decisions at critical points in their lives – as they begin their post-high school service, academic educations, and careers.

The participants in the Aluma programs are residents of Israel’s geographical periphery, members of Ethiopian families, young religious women, young adults from Arab, Druze, and Bedouin communities, young people with disabilities, and youth at risk.
